The Computer Diver Specialist workshop, will teach you how to bring your dive planning, execution and safety into the 21st century! Although many instructors offer no more than cursory information on diving computers, the fact is their use has become mainstream for diving today. And they are not some new-fangled piece of dive kit either. The modern Personal Dive Computer (PDC) has been with us since before the late 1980's.

Modern Air-Integrated Hose-less PDC and Sending Tranmitter
An additional workshop on Personal Dive Computers (PDC's) may be desired. Diving computers have become commonplace over the last 25 years, yet many divers lack the information on how PDC's may be used to increase their dive safety while allowing additional dive time.
What you will learn during your Personal Dive Computer workshop
- The 3 Different PDC Configurations
- Features to look for when purchasing a PDC
- The importance of checking a PDC for proper mix settings
- The Advantages of Air Integrated PDC's
- Using PDC's to Read your NDL's for Single and Repetitive Dives
- Back-up and contingency dive planning using PDC's
- Ten Rules for Using PDC's Safely
- The Six Most Important Reasons for Using a PDC
- An Overview of Using PDC'S with Enriched Air Nitrox
- The Good and the Bad of Forward, Reverse, Saw-tooth and Square Profile PDC Dives
- Reading Safe to Fly Times and Slow Ascent Warnings of PDC's

Enriched Air Nitrox Computer Diver
The Enriched Air Nitrox Computer Diver Specialty course is our most popular specialty course for diver continuing education. Diving with Enriched Air Nitrox lets you safely extend your no stop time beyond the no decompression limit for air.
Diving with enriched air means more time underwater - but you need to be certified as an Enriched Air Diver to get enriched air fills.
Whether
you're into underwater photography or wreck diving, on a vacation in some
tropical paradise or just out for a leisurely day of diving at your local dive
site, the Enriched Air diver course helps you get more out of diving by giving
you more time underwater.
Completion of the PDC Specialist Program Computer Assisted Multi-Level Diving Workbook to level 1 (if not previously completed from lower level workshops) is required.
The text is SDI's Easy Nitrox Diving.
In
this course you will learn to plan your enriched air dives using enriched air
capable dive computers as your nitrogen loading will differ significantly
compared to diving air. Down there everything is different. It takes additional
training. Here's what you get:
Experience longer dive times beyond 60 feet
Learn to analyze cylinder contents
Plan enriched air dives using dive computers
Safely increase your no stop time
