The Deep Diver Specialty course offers you the opportunity of a lifetime - going beyond the recommended depth for beginning divers to see things others can only dream about.
In this course you will experience what it's like to dive beyond 60 feet. Down there everything is different. It takes additional training. Here's what you get:
- Learn to how make an effective deep dive plan
- Learn proper deep dive surface support and organization
- Learn Deep diving techniques and procedures
- Learn proper equipment and backup equipment for deep diving
- Learn to recognize, handle and prevent deep diving hazards
- Perform Open Water Dives that range from 60 - 130 feet
- Gain experience with diving deep under the direct, professional supervision of an Instructor
- Certification counts toward your Master Diver Rating
Prerequisite Certification: Open Water Diver
Minimum age: 15
