MidCoast Scuba Center is the areas most experienced and qualified repair
center for open circuit scuba and semi-closed circuit rebreather scuba equipment. We
are the area's authorized dealer and repair center for the world's finest diving
equipment, ScubaPro.
MidCoast Scuba Center is a Factory Authorized Warranty Service Center for all of the dive equipment manufacturers that we represent. Our Repair Technicians are also factory trained and highly skilled in repairing and servicing diving equipment. Our criteria for servicing life support equipment are the highest standards in the diving industry bar none. We use only manufacturer's recommended service repair kits and factory parts for all service items. This results in a "like new" performance and reliability after each annual service is completed.
The equipment we service for you should stay in tune and be dependable for a reasonable period of time, depending on how much you dive and how well you maintain your equipment. And we will back you up if this fails to happen.
What is reasonable?
Here's a reasonable standard: most manufacturers recommend annual equipment servicing for the average diver (100 dives or less annually, with intelligent maintenance and care between dives).
So we go with that - if you dive 100 times or less annually and you rinse and store your scuba equipment intelligently, then you should have no problems with any of the equipment we service for you during the entire 1-year service cycle.
If you do, we will repair it for you absolutely free of charge. Further, if you have to pay an additional and unexpected charge for rental equipment during your dive trip on any single component of your scuba system we serviced within the previous year, because of this failure, we will reimburse you for the rental charge of that component.

The fine print: there is not any fine print. We stand behind what we do, period.
In addition, should you wish to have your scuba equipment performance checked prior to a trip, you may bring it in and we will utilize our test bench equipment to help assure full performance function at any time during the year following service, at no charge to you.
We have three ScubaPro Master Technicians on staff to serve your needs.
We offer Ultrasonic Cleaning of all parts to assure you complete, non-destructive removal of any corrosion in your life support system.
We offer state of the art diagnostic and tuning services with a full function test bench. You will receive a written report on your regulator's performance before and after service.
We offer factory authorized warranty and lifetime parts benefits service on the brands we sell.
We offer labor discounts for equipment purchased from our store.
We save you money with annual service reminders to keep your regulator and other diving equipment warranties in effect.

We offer accurate depth comparison testing on all analog and digital gauges.
We offer battery changes on most model diving computers with full range operational testing on diving computers and water tight testing according to factory specifications in the only test chamber in the area. You will receive a written report on your computer's performance after service.

We offer cylinder inspection under PSI standards. We offer manufacturer recommended electronic testing to identify neck cracks in aluminum cylinders.
When Hydrostatic testing is required we will fully service the valve(s) and replace burst disc assemblies.
