WRECK DIVER

The Wreck Diver Specialty course. You drift down and pass through a window into the past. As you near the bottom, a recognizable shape begins to form. First, you see a straight line, then a round window. Next, a ship materializes in front of you. As you look at the wreck, past and the present meet.

Whether sunk intentionally or tragically, whether a sunken ship, a plane or an automobile, the call of wrecks is nearly irresistible to divers. In the Wreck Diver Specialty course, you get the skill, knowledge and procedures you need to answer the call of wreck diving.

In this course you will experience what it's like to explore the past in the present. Down there everything is different. It takes additional training. Here's what you'll cover:

  • You'll learn how to select a wreck site
  • You'll learn about specialized wreck diving equipment
  • Techniques for locating wrecks
  • You'll learn techniques for diving wreck as a recreational diver
  • You'll be presented with Advanced Wreck Diving techniques
  • Covers basic wreck diving safety equipment and use
  • Certification counts toward your Master Diver Rating
